I support equal rights, I don't have anything against gays and so long as they don't propose to me I'm good. |

 nice.
Yeah im all up for gay/lesbian marriages, i don't mind talking to 'a gay' or seeing 2 men kissing etc. aslong as it makes them happy and they don't try anything with me then its fine. After all, we are told to live our lives to the max. |

Well, surely gay people can still have a relationship and show love for each other without having to be married. |

I dunno about Australia, but here there are literally hundreds of legal benefits that come with being married. Everyone pays the same taxes, so IMO everyone should get the same things back from the government. If the government is detached from marriage there and it's just a church thing then that's different. |

I'm mixed on this issue. Marriage should not be anything other than between one man and one woman IMO, I kind of agree with agentkgb, maybe the government shouldn't be involved. |

No, I don't really care what people do privately (so for instance I oppose sodomy laws). Otherwise I couldn't really hang out with citizen. |

Well there is a thing called Separation of Church and State, so technically the government shouldn't even be involved in marriage of any kind what so ever. But yea, all married couples, gay or strait pay taxes, so they should receive the same rights. |

I don't care what gender they are, if they want to get married that's up to them. |
